Versatile Process and Surge Tanks Offer Variety of Uses

Brock’s polyethylene tanks are ideal for a variety of uses requiring a low-cost, low-capacity tank. Brock offers two tank models: a six-foot (1.8-m) diameter, 3,000-pound (1,360-kg) capacity model and a smaller 53-inch (1346-mm) diameter unit with a 1,500-pound (680-kg) capacity.

Both of these process and surge tanks can be used to hold a wide variety of materials, including:

  • Free-flowing powers
  • Plastic pellets
  • Some corrosive materials

Brock's surge tanks offer low fill heights so you can easily place them inside your building. Both tanks were designed to accept a variety of boots available for use with many material handling systems, including Brock’s famous FLEX-AUGER® PLUS Delivery System.

Need more storage capacity than offered by these tanks? Check out Brock’s complete line of skirted and unskirted industrial storage silos.

Large tank features include:

  • One-piece body. One-piece, rotational-molded 60-degree center draw hopper and tank body are seamless to promote smooth material flow.
  • Translucent. High density, ultraviolet-stabilized linear polyethylene tank is translucent to allow users to easily see stored material levels.
  • Large fill hole. Brock’s larger tank offers a 22-inch (559-mm) diameter fill hole and lid made of galvanized steel for rust-resistance.
  • Sturdy roof. Sturdy roof features “high rise” ribs molded into the roof structure to help hold a rooftop load of up to 350 pounds (160 kg).
  • Strong bottom outlet collar. A 16-inch (406-mm) diameter bottom outlet collar is formed from a single piece of galvanized steel for greater strength and rigidity.
  • Strong legs. Strong galvanized steel legs give your tank rust-resistance, sturdy support.
  • Easy-to-install anchor system. The leg anchor system is designed for greater stability to firmly hold the tank in place while still being simple and efficient to install.
  • Optional side ladder. Brock’s optional side ladder is assembled with top quality bolts and is designed wide and sturdy to meet or exceed relevant OSHA standards when installed properly.
  • Optional leg extensions. For those uses requiring adjustments in tank height, Brock offers optional leg extensions in increments of a little over 2.5 inches (65 mm) up to a maximum extension height of nearly 18 inches (456 mm).
  • One-year warranty. Brock’s standard one-year warranty is another valuable feature you get. See Brock’s full written warranty for details.
